School Services
BG Zehnergasse uses several digital platforms for everyday school life. Here you will find an overview of all services and how to use them.
WebUntis is the digital timetable and electronic class register of the school, operated by Gruber & Petters (untis.at).

Self-Registration for Parents
With your own parent account you can see your child's timetable and absences and book parentβteacher meetings. You can set up the account yourself in just a few steps.
β οΈImportant: the correct email address
Registration only works with exactly the email address you gave the school as your contact address β usually the same one your edu.Flow messages are sent to. If the addresses do not match, registration will fail.
Open WebUntis and click "Registrieren" (Register)
Go to the school's WebUntis start page:
bgzehnwn.webuntis.com and click
"Registrieren" below the login button (next to "Noch keinen Zugang?" / Don't have access yet?).
Enter your email address
Enter the email address stored at the school and click "Senden" (Send).
Click the confirmation link in the email
You will receive an email from WebUntis containing a confirmation link. Click the link to complete registration. If the link does not work, enter the confirmation code from the email in the registration window instead.
Registration complete
You will receive a confirmation email ("Registrierung abgeschlossen" / Registration complete). You can now log in β your username is your email address.

On the
WebUntis start page click
"Passwort vergessen?" (Forgot password?). You will receive an email with a new password; to activate it, click the link in the email.

Colour codes in the timetable

βΉοΈSchedule changes
Changes for the next day are entered by 12:00 PM. After that, the displayed plan is final.
Reporting an absence
Click "Report absence" in the dashboard
Select the time period (full day or individual hours).
Select category "KR_neu"
Optionally add a comment for the class advisor.
Submit written excuse within one week
The absence is saved as "open" and must be excused within one week.
π«Compulsory attendance
According to Austrian school law (
SchUG Β§ 43 and
Β§ 45), school attendance is compulsory. Parents must notify the class advisor by
7:30 AM on the first day of absence. A medical certificate is required for absences longer than one week or frequent short-term illness. After more than 5 unexcused absences, the student may be automatically de-enrolled (
Β§ 45 para. 4).

edu.Suite by Quarto Software GmbH is the shared login portal for edu.Flow, edu.Pay and edu.Card.

βΉοΈParent synchronisation
Parent accounts are synchronised nightly. Changes to your data will be visible the next day.
β οΈPersonal data changed? (address, phone number, name etc.)
If your personal data changes (e.g. address, phone number, family name, guardianship), please send the update directly to your child's class advisor (Klassenvorstand). The class advisor updates the data in SOKRATES β from there it is automatically passed on to edu.Flow and edu.Pay. This is the only way to keep all systems up to date.
edu.Flow β Digital Parent Communication
edu.Flow is the official communication platform between school and parents.
Initial setup
Receive welcome letter
At the beginning of the school year you receive a letter with a QR code and access data.
Verify your email
Scan the QR code or enter the data at
edusuite.at/portal/. Confirm your email address.
Return the signed letter
Give the signed letter back to the class advisor.
Start using the platform
With your email and password you now have access to edu.Flow and edu.Pay.
β οΈEmails not arriving?
Especially with
hotmail.com,
outlook.com,
live.com and
yahoo.com, emails are often blocked as spam. Add these senders to your contacts:

Also check your spam/junk folder.
Forgot password (parents)
Reset your edu.Flow password here: Password reset. The IT team cannot reset parent passwords β only the self-service portal can.
Use edu.Pay to pay school expenses cashlessly:
- Top up edu.Card balance (max. EUR 25 per top-up)
- Order a new edu.Card (student ID, EUR 13)
- Pay for sports weeks & excursions
- Locker and bookshelf rental

Credit card and debit card payments are no longer offered due to high fees. Please use EPS or a regular bank transfer.

Amounts under EUR 10 can be transferred to the copy card. From EUR 10 a refund is possible β send the application form with name, class and signature to
kanzlei@bgzwn.at.
edu.Card β Student ID & Copy Card
The edu.Card is the official student ID with copy function. Full details on ordering, loss reporting, replacement, and the digital edu.digicard can be found on the dedicated page:
Printing & Copying
The printing system uses SafeQ by Y-Soft. Costs are charged to your edu.Card balance.

Universal Print (cloud printing)
Universal Print is the cloud printing service of Microsoft 365. The school printers appear directly in the print dialog β no IP addresses or driver installation. Requirement: sign in with your school account (lastname.firstname@bgzwn.at) and an internet connection.
Windows (built in):
Sign in with your school account
Be signed in to the Windows PC with your school account (device registered with Microsoft Entra β see
MDM Setup).
Add a printer
Settings β Bluetooth & devices β Printers & scanners β "Add device". The shared Universal Print printers are listed.
Select & print
Add the printer, then print normally via Ctrl + P.
macOS:
Install the Universal Print app
Download the "Universal Print" app from the Mac App Store (search for "Universal Print"). Requires macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 or later.
Sign in with your school account
Open the app and sign in with your school account (Microsoft Entra ID).
Install the printer
In the app, select and install the available school printer(s).
Print
Print from any app via Cmd + P β the printer appears in the print dialog like a normal printer.
βΉοΈPrint from anywhere
Universal Print is cloud-based β you can print from anywhere with an internet connection, not just on the school WiFi. It requires a school account with a Universal Print entitlement (included in the Microsoft 365 A3 licence).
Portal Digitale Schule (PoDS)
PoDS is the platform of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education for digital school administration.
Activation for students
Receive QR code in class
You will receive an activation code in DIGIB class. It is valid for 30 days.
Link with Office 365
Select "Register with Office 365" and sign in with lastname.firstname@bgzwn.at.
Confirm permissions
Confirm the requested permissions β your PoDS account is now linked to your school account.
